Do you only sell used electric cars?

At Eccasion you buy dealer maintained, ex-lease and fully electric, used cars. We do not sell gasoline, diesel or hybrid vehicles. Almost all electric used cars we buy have a full service history and from our expertise we know exactly what to look for. Ál our used cars have 12 months warranty and a transparent price structure. Every car has been professionally checked in advance and comes with a comprehensive battery check.

How does the auction where you buy the car for my search work?
The vast majority of electric cars return to the leasing company after five years of lease and are sold through auctions. These auctions are open only to dealers, but we offer you exclusive access to this market. We target your search and bid on used cars with closed or open bidding systems. In closed bidding there is one chance, in open bidding we automatically bid up to your maximum. If the car is cheaper, you pay less. If the bid is higher, we simply continue the search.

What guarantees do I get at Eccasion?

At Eccasion, a number of warranties are always and by default included in the price:

  1. A battery guarantee, you will receive your Eccasion with a fully checked battery. If it does not pass the test then you do not have to take the car off the lot
  2. You have a 14-day trial period during which you can return the purchased used electric car and receive a 100% refund.
  3. You also have 12 months basic warranty included in the price
  4. We are an Autotrust approved company, so if you want additional warranty we can offer you this through them. The costs differ per car.

Can I take a test drive?

The car is professionally inspected by auction. After purchase, another inspection follows when your Eccasion arrives at our hub. Before you pay the final invoice, you make a test drive. You also have a 14-day trial period. Does the car not satisfy you? Then you can return it within 14 days and receive 100% of your purchase price back. How do I know the car is in good condition?

We only buy used electric cars with full service history and a professional inspection. In the rare case that a car has unexpected damage, we will fix it completely and free of charge. In addition, you always have the option to return the car within 14 days and receive a full refund.

How does the battery warranty work?

At Eccasion you always have assurance of a healthy battery. When we receive the car we will measure it with the test of Aviloo, a very well-known party in the market. We will share this report with you.

If the test shows that the battery is not healthy, you will get a full refund.

Can I trade in my old car?

You can trade in your car with us. Let us know in time, we will ask a few questions about your vehicle and you will receive an offer within two days. If you accept the offer and the car matches your description, it's final. Trade-ins can be done in advance or afterwards, for example on the day you receive your new EV. We offer this service together with DAS Import Automotive Group.

What makes Eccasion different from a car dealership?

In short; we have lower costs, are fully transparent and only sell 100% electric cars. We have no showroom or stock and buy the car based on your search. This keeps costs low and you have an electric used car from the same place where the dealer buys his cars but at a lower price.

How soon can I get a car from you?

When we find a match with your search and we win the bid, we can get your used car to your doorstep in a week at the earliest. Also, it may take some time for us to find exactly your suitable used car and we don't always win the first offer. So realistically, you should allow for two weeks. So don't wait too long if you're looking for a used electric and submit a no-obligation search already .
