The Model 3 has been on the market since 2019 and since its inception there are 3 variants, the Standard Range, Long Range and the Performance. The biggest difference between the models is the battery pack, where the Long Range and Performance's pack is 20kW larger, which equates to about 100 - 150km extra range to total around 500km range in a new car.

All Model 3 Long Ranges have a Dual Motor, or All wheel drive. This gives more traction in addition to the extra power. This also provides slightly more consumption, about 10% more consumption than the single motor Standard Range.

The Model 3's are standard richly equipped with many options such as leather upholstery and a panoramic roof, with the Long Range and Performance models having additional options such as Premium audio and rear seat heating.

The Model 3 Long Range remains technically strong even after 4-5 years as a used car. Software updates keep it up to date, and with battery health around 85% at 200,000 kilometers, it still achieves 430-440 kilometers of range. However, the build quality is a bit less than an ID.3, ID.4 or Polestar, so the interior lets a bit more noise through. Depending on your priorities, this could still be your ideal car.
