The Volkswagen ID.3 was the first model in the ID series and entered the market in 2020. It was designed as the electric successor to the Golf and built on the MEB platform. Most ID.3s are equipped with a 58 kWh battery pack (net), good for a realistic range of about 320-360 kilometers. There are also variants with a smaller (45 kWh) or larger (77 kWh) battery pack, but you won't see those as often.
The ID.3 is compact on the outside, but spacious on the inside. Many models are equipped with things like seat heating, and a large touchscreen with voice controls. In terms of performance, it offers a smooth and quiet driving experience, especially in city and regional use.
As a used car, the ID.3 remains an accessible and mature EV. The first models (2020-2021) sometimes had minor software issues, but in the cars we select, this has been fixed through updates and maintenance. We check this carefully in the maintenance history.
Looking for a practical, compact electric car with modern technology and enough range for everyday use? Then the ID.3 is a smart choice. Especially if you are not looking for an SUV, but do want to drive electric and spacious.
The ID.3 was a popular car in 2020 and 2021 so there is a lot of supply from leasing companies of well-maintained ID.3s.
